10 Reasons To Love... Severus Snape

10.  It would appear that almost everyone enjoys a good underdog story. This is no exception. People tend to gravitate towards Snape as they discover aspects of his past. As a tortured and lonely soul, it is easy to find sympathy for him and some may even be able to empathize with him given a lonely past as well

9.  He is incredibly flawed. In some ways, he is even a little twisted. Especially in cases such as when he was willing to let James and Harry die in order to save his love, Lily. However, given his upbringing, that is not unexpected. Anyway, back to topic. As readers or movie viewers, we find fascination in the complex and flawed characters such as Snape. He is fascinating.

8.  He is incredibly intelligent and gifted. At least when it comes to the art of potion making.

7.  Snape has a tendency to do and say what he wishes. In many cases, he does seem to do so in a rather brash manner. However, I think we all admire a little confidence and assertiveness.

6.  Snape was friend zoned. This just gives us reason to love him because not only do we fell sorry for him, but most of us (unless you are someone who possesses Jennifer Lawrence like qualities in which it would seem, that every person ever gravitates towards you) you have probably faced time in the friend-zone or have been denied in some way shape or form. Therefore, we can understand his pain.

5.  He is a double agent!! He is probably the only character with the skill to successfully tiptoe a thin line between Dumbledore and Voldemort.

4. Going off of that double agent thing, he's is incredibly brave! That's pretty admirable.

3.  He has a few, pretty good, witty remarks.
"Oh, very good," interrupted Snape, his lip curling. "Yes, it is easy to see that nearly six years of magical education have not been wasted on you, Potter. 'Ghosts are transparent.'"
"Harry Potter - Our new celebrity."

2.  He saved the hero of the story, Harry, not once, but multiple times. For this, we thank him.

1. Finally, he is beyond loyal. This is without doubt, his greatest characteristic.

10 Reasons To Love... Rainy Weather

10.  If you are like me, and sort of lazy when it comes to cleaning your car, then you greatly appreciate the free washing that your car gets when you leave it outside in the rain.

9.  Continuing down that lazy path, if you love having a garden or even just some small plants around your house, but just aren't that into caring for them, rain has got your back. Rain is, without doubt, the simplest way to ensure the future of your plants.

8. Rain is perfect for, at least many movies seem to indicate as such, kissing in the rain.

7. Rainbows! Without rain, we would not get to see the beautiful streaks of color in the sky that are said to hold a great deal of gold at the end. In addition, without rainbows, we would never have been able to see the hilariously awkward freak out that we all saw in the double rainbow video. So, thank you rain.

6.  Without rain, how could we possibly be able to fully grasp the severity of a situation in a cartoon? It seems that rain is the best way to depict sadness in cartoon.

5.  I think that many can agree that the pitter patter sound that the raindrops make as they hit the roof of our house is vey soothing. It even helps to lull many to sleep.

4. Rain isn't always the most inviting weather. Therefore, it can be used as a great excuse to stay home for a day.  I'm not saying that hiding away at home is fun all of the time, but every once in a while, it feels fantastic to not have to put pants on, snuggle up in a blanket and relax.

3. Rain gives us the perfect excuse to rekindle our relationship with Netflix. And I can only speak for myself here, but any reason to binge watch my favorite shows is amazing.

2.  Rain makes ducks happy. And if you have ever fed a duck, as a child, or as an adult for that matter, than they have brought you some happiness.

1. Finally, without rain, we wouldn't be able to truly appreciate the warm, sunny days that we receive, because you can't taste sweet without tasting sour.
